Before You Start

Before your installation, it is recommended to check your network environment. If there is any IEEE 802.3at device that
needs to be powered on and works normally, the 5720-44 30W PoE Injector provides you with a way out to supply power
to this Ethernet device conveniently and easily.
It is equipped with power regulator which accepts power input ranging from DC24V to DC56V input and injects DC 54V
power into the pin of the twisted-pair cable (pair 1/2 [-], 3/6 [+]).

Next, Turn clockwise to tighten the gland body (with washer) connected to the outdoor PoE Injector Important: Make sure the clamping nut is tightly attached to the cable gland body and the sealing insert is squeezed tightly.
  • Page 3 PTZ (Pan, Tilt & Zoom) network camera, color touch screen, Voice over IP (VoIP) telephones and multi-channel wireless LAN access points which support IEEE 802.3 at/af In-Line Power over Ethernet port. Once 5720-44 detects the existence of an IEEE 802.3at/af device, the PoE-in-Use LED indicator will be steadily on to show it providing power.
