- Page 2 CIB 3041 (Z186A) Processor Module When you receive your Model 1030 control unit, the Processor Module will already be installed in the slot labeled 2 and color-coded violet on the con- trol unit label. The Processor Module allows access to the microprocessor that runs all the programs stored in the Feature Module(s) of your system.
- Page 3 Removal Remove the front panel from the control unit. Locate the slot labeled 2 on the control unit. Remove the old Processor Module from the control unit by pressing down firmly on the latch at the base of the module until it releases. Slowly slide the module out of its slot in the control unit.
