    The sensor is mounted so that it bends along with the axle when weight is applied or taken off. As the load increases, the sensor will detect the strain in the axles. This strain is then measured and converted to weight by the Right Weigh gauge after calibration. EMPTY...

    INSTALLATION WARNING! Please refer to the corresponding Installation Overview for specific placement of sensors before beginning. Please check your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations regarding welding before beginning. MARK AXLE FOR SENSOR LOCATION Test fit the sensor bracket assembly to the axle. Once the assembly is in the desired position, hold it secrurely and mark the area inside the holes with a permanent marker.
  • Page 9 INSTALLATION CLAMP BRACKET ASSEMBLY TO AXLE Reinstall the sensor bracket assembly to the desired position on the axle. Clamp the assembly in place using a c-clamp or similar tool. SENSOR BACKET ASSEMBLY C-CLAMP CHECK VEHICLE MANUFACTURER’S RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING WELDING BEFORE BEGINNING WELD BRACKETS TO AXLE Tack weld the bracket assembly to the axle using four welds...
  • Page 10 INSTALLATION ALLOW WELDS TO COOL REMOVE ALIGNMENT DOWEL & PLATE Remove the clamp(s) used to hold the assembly during welding. Remove the four bolts attaching the alignment plate. Discard the plate but save the bolts and washers as they will be used in a later step. Then loosen the three set screws and remove the alignment dowel.

    INSTALLATION INSTALL TENSION BAR Carefully install the tension bar into the blocks so that the grooved side is in the block with only one set screw. TENSION BAR TIGHTEN SET SCREWS Firmly tighten the set screws making sure to tighten the side with the single set screw first.

    INSTALLATION CONNECT PICKUP COIL Push the pickup coil onto the tension bar as PICKUP COIL shown. Clamp the pickup coil in place using the TENSION BAR supplied hose clamp. HOSE CLAMP INSTALL SENSOR COVER Guide the cover over the tension bar and mounting blocks as shown.
  • Page 13 INSTALLATION CLAMP CABLE IN PLACE Place the loop LOOP CLAMP clamp over the pickup coil cable and then bend the clamp closed. CABLE Slide the clamp LOOP CLAMP down the cable WASHER until the hole in clamp is aligned BOLT with the threaded hole in the sensor bracket.

    Right Weigh, Inc. will return the product at its expense via a shipping method (carrier to be at sole discretion of Right Weigh, Inc.) equal to or faster than the method used by the customer. Products or parts thereof not covered by warranty will be repaired or replaced at customer expense upon authorization by the customer.
