Using your Coffee Mill
Before using your
Hitachi Coffee Mill
• Read Important Safeguards.
• Plug into a mains outlet.
Loading the Coffee Mill
• Open the Container Lid (1)
and pour the coffee beans
into the container (2).
• Take care not to load the
coffee beans over the "Max"
mark, located on the side of
the container.
• Close the Container Lid,
making sure it is closed tightly.
Adjusting the fineness
of your coffee
• Adjust the desired degree of
grinding (coarse, medium,
fine), using Coarse/Fine
Control Knob (4), located at
the rear of the Coffee Mill.
The setting is displayed on the
top side of the Control Knob.

Recommended settings:
• Pump driven espresso
machines. Fine grind.
Setting "A".
• Cone filter drip coffee,
steam espresso
machines, stovetop
espresso makers. Fine
grind. Setting "B".
• Flat-bottom filter drip
coffee machines.
Medium grind.
Setting "C".
• Coffee press. Coarse
grind. Setting "E".
