Battery Instructions
Use a small Phillips head screw driver to
remove the right endcap. Unscrew the
battery cap and remove protective tab.

to make sure it is screwed tightly into the

On/Off button ─ Press and hold for 1 second to turn on. This feature prevents the device from accidental
activation. It will turn off if not used for 3 minutes, conserving battery life.

Hold button ─ Press the button to "hold" the display. An (H) displays on screen. Press again to "unhold".

Mode button ─ Press the button to switch between units of measure °(Degree), % (Slope), In/Ft, mm/M (Pitch).

Alternate Zero button ─ Press the Alternate Zero button to activate the function to set any angle or slope to 0° as
a reference. Once activated, the Alternate Zero icon
