The GVM-3 has an auto power on function that allows recording continuously after a long power failure that completely empties the battery. By default, this option is disabled. Jumper plugged – Auto switch on is on Precaution: Be careful when opening the GVM-3. Do not pull any connector and do not touch the electronic circuits. Pay special attention when closing the lid. Be sure that there is no cable trapped between the lid and the case.
GVM-3 becomes slower, and some read operations or disk maintenance should not be interpreted as equipment hang. If you experience a real hang, press the “light” button for 8 seconds or more until the GVM-3 switches off. After start up, please check the configuration options.
