    One Method for Locating Correct Vehicle Wires Use a multimeter. Set your multimeter to DC voltage. Attach the negative (-) probe to the vehicle chassis ground. Probe the wires you suspect of being the constant and ignition power sources. © Nauto 2019. All Rights Reserved.
  • Page 9 Using your preferred connection method (poke & wrap, solder, or posi-tap), connect the red wire from the Nauto power supply to the source of +12V. Be sure NOT to permanently disconnect the 12V source from other circuits in the vehicle and take care to make a strong connection to survive vibration and temperatures.

    Select and install the vehicle-appropriate adapter from Nauto’s OBD Adapter Kit (page 6). 4. Using the appropriate adapter, replace the vehicle’s OBD port with the female end of the Nauto Y-cable. If there was an existing device in the vehicle’s OBD port, please reconnect it utilizing the Nauto Y-cable.
