    Chapter 1 Product Overview 1.1 Introduction Neocean IX1000 (hereinafter referred to as IX1000) is a brand new storage product released by Hangzhou H3C Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as H3C). As a key component of H3C’s Neocean auto-sensing network storage framework, it is powerful, reliable, and easy to manage, and delivers superior performance.

    Rated voltage range: 100 VAC to 127 VAC or 200 VAC to 240 VAC; 50 Hz or 60 Hz Max output power: 700 W Note: If you need a UPS, contact a H3C salesperson. 1.2.3 Heat Dissipation System For IX1000, air comes in from the front of the chassis and gets out from the rear. The fan is located between the disks and the main board.

Verification before installation: The chassis mounting brackets are in the accessory package of the product. Each device comes with two mounting brackets, each of which can be used either on the left or on the right.

All the items should be in normal state.

They are numbered from the top down and from left to right for easy identification of the disks, as shown in Figure 3-13.
