To use the installed battery maintainer/charger, a 3-prong receptacle is installed. When using an extension cord, ensure it is in good condition. Inspect cords periodically and replace if damaged.

Adjust the nozzle to test different spray patterns. 9. Depress and release the handle several times to make sure the spray pressure is consistent each time and that the liquid stops flowing as expected.

GENERAL OPERATION Before starting operation, a nozzle should be selected based upon the desired application. The system includes three different styles and they can easily be swapped out by using a wrench.
Page 15 FS100™ PORTABLE SPRAYER SYSTEM INSTALLATION, OPERATING, AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS FSG-MNL-00219 4. FILLING UP RESERVOIR • BEFORE STARTING, CHECK TO ENSURE THE RESERVOIR IS EMPTY. • IF THE RESERVOIR IS NOT EMPTY, REMOVE EXCESS LIQUID AND FLUSH THE SYSTEM WITH WATER.

POWER REQUIREMENTS THE SYSTEM EITHER OPERATES FROM THE INSTALLED 12VDC BATTERY OR WHEN PLUGGED INTO A STANDARD GFCI 120VAC OUTLET VIA THE INTEGRATED BATTERY CHARGER. UNIT SHOULD BE TURNED OFF WHEN NOT SPRAYING.

TURNING OFF SYSTEM WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED OPERATING THE SYSTEM, FLIP THE SWITCH TO THE OFF POSITION. THIS DEACTIVATES THE PUMP. WITH THE WAND POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION, RELIEVE PRESSURE IN THE SYSTEM BY PULLING THE WAND TRIGGER.

FSG-MNL-00219 6. MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS For the Akron FS100™ Sprayer to remain functional, the equipment should be cleaned on a regular basis. In addition to general exterior cleaning of the unit, there are THREE user-serviceable areas: sprayer nozzle, piston pump intake strainer, and piston pump seals and check valves.
Page 19 FS100™ PORTABLE SPRAYER SYSTEM INSTALLATION, OPERATING, AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS FSG-MNL-00219 PISTON PUMP INTAKE STRAINER A low-pressure in-line liquid strainer is mounted to the inlet of the piston pump. The strainer protects the pump from debris that might accumulate in the 5-gallon liquid reservoir. The strainer has a composite, non-metallic housing with a stainless-steel mesh strainer element.

The FS100 provides a means to apply a cleaning agent, but Akron Brass makes no warranties or representations regarding the effectiveness of the selected cleaning agent for disinfection or decontamination purposes.
Page 23 The list below is intended to provide guidance to the user about the active ingredients found in over the counter disinfectants that are suitable for use with the FS100 and its components. This list is intended to provide the user / AHJ guidance for selection of their preferred agent. Any deviation from this list will void the warranty as it may cause damage to the sprayer system and/or create risk to the user.
