- Page 4 DENTIFY YPERION ADIO MOUNTING LOCATION Mounting Surface The Hyperion Radio should be mounted indoors to a structurally solid surface. When selecting a mounting location, take care to ensure that there are no obstructions, especially solid metal surfaces in the immediate vicinity of the radio and antenna.
- Page 5 OUNTING THE DEVICE Expose the mounting bracket by removing the 2 upper positioning screws and rotat- ing the housing down. Mount to the desired location using #10 size fasteners and the appropriate wall anchors (if required). Re-install the upper positioning screws.
- Page 6 ENETRATION Drill an appropriate sized wall penetration to pass a CAT5 ethernet cable from the device to the radio. ABLING Cabling Specifications Maximum cabling distance is 100 feet. Cabling should be minimum CAT5 rated and at least 24AWG. Cabling Procedure Run a length of CAT5 or greater cabling from IHYP-PP180R-B to the Hyperion Radio.
