    SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Important Safety Note: It is strongly recommended that any service, maintenance or repair to be performed by a licensed & authorized technician. Basic safety precautions should be followed when using commercial refrigeration equipments or any other electrical appliances, such as: Unplug the equipment from the electrical outlet before cleaning or performing any repairs or maintenance.

    UNIT INSTALLATION Important Installation Note: It is highly recommend to have a licensed refrigeration technician (or a licensed electrician) properly install your Commercial Refrigeration Equipment and use the unit as it is intended for, in a commercial location and for commercial purpose only. Prior to installation, all the packing materials (such as cardboards, protective foams, plastic covers and tapes) should be removed.

  • Page 9 Electrical Safety and Power Cord Connection: Important Safety Note: Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the grounding prong from the power cord. For safety this appliance must be properly grounded at all times. The power cord of the Kegerator unit is equipped with a grounding wire and plugs to standard grounded wall outlet to minimize the possibility of electric shock hazard.
  • Page 10 OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Important Operation Note: Anytime the unit is unplugged or the power is turned off, allow at least five (5) minutes before re-plugging or turning the power on. Before using or placing any products inside the unit, it is recommenced to let it operate for 1 to 2 days with the unit doors closed, to insure the temperature reaches and stays within the set points.

    STAINLESS STEEL CARE AND CLEANING Important Cleaning Note: Do not use any steel wool, abrasive or chlorine based products to clean stainless steel surfaces Stainless Steel Enemies: There are three basic items that can break down the passivity layer of stainless steel and allow corrosion to occur. Scratches from wire brushes, metal scrapers and steel pads are just a few examples of items that can be abrasive to stainless steel’s surface.
  • Page 12 Eight Steps that can help prevent rust on stainless steel: 1. Use the correct cleaning tools. Use non-abrasive tools when cleaning your stainless steel products. The stainless steel’s passive layer will not be harmed by soft cloths and plastic scouring pads. 2.
  • Page 13 MAINTENANCE AND CONDENSER CLEANING Note: Condensers accumulate dirt and dust and cleaning it every 30 days is recommended. Dirty condensers result in compressor failure, product loss, and lost sales — which are not covered by warranty. Air is pulled through the condenser continuously along with dust, lint, grease, etc. If you keep the condenser clean you will minimize your service expense and lower your electrical costs.
