Mini BLC-DALI
Mymesh Building Light Control
The Mymesh mini BLC-DALI is a product in the Mymesh Building Light Control product suite
for wireless lighting control. The mini BLC-DALI is a wireless light controller for DALI drivers.
Safety
- Installation should be performed only by a qualified electrician.
- Disconnect power at the source before installation, inspection or removal.
- Do not use the mini BLC-DALI if it is damaged.
- The electrical installation must be in conformance with the national legislation and relevant
standards.
- The mains connection of the mini BLC-DALI must be provided with a fuse or circuit breaker.
- The mini BLC-DALI has protection class IP20 and is suitable for use at indoor locations.
- Mount the mini BLC-DALI in an IP66 housing for use at outdoor locations.
- The mini BLC-DALI is double insulated (protection class II).
- The optional strain relief mini BLC can be used to fixate and protect wiring to the mini BLC
DALI.
Application
- Refer to the mini BLC-DALI product sheet (see chess-wise.eu/downloads) for the product
specifications and the environmental conditions.
Installation
1. Mount the mini BLC-DALI with 2x M3 screw/bolt (76 mm distance).
2. Use maximal 1.5 mm2 wiring for all connections. Push the wires completely into the terminal
block. Use wire end sleeves when using flexible wires.
3. Solely use a plastic, polycarbonate or fiberglass housing without carbon additives should be
used for installation of a mini BLC-DALI, or bring the white end part of the antenna outside the
housing.
4. Install the antenna to the antenna connector. Do not mount the white end part of the antenna
close to metal surfaces to obtain optimal radio performance.
5. Do not connect more than one DALI driver to a mini BLC-DALI. See wiring diagram below.
