    3 Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme 3.1 Montage MFT1x seitliche Tastatur Die MFT1x seitliche Tastatur ist als eine robuste USB-Industrietastatur für die seitliche Montage an einem ACD Fahrzeugterminal der Typen MFT10, MFT12 oder MFT15 konzipiert. Zur Befestigung wurde eine seitliche Halterung entwickelt, die rechts oder links am MFT1x montiert werden kann. Ebenfalls ist eine Montage mittels eines RAM-Mount Halters möglich.

Weiterhin ist die Befestigung der MFT1x seitlichen Tastatur mittels verschiedener RAM-Mount Halterungen möglich.

    3.3 Inbetriebnahme der Tastatur Die MFT1x seitliche Tastatur wird per USB-Anschluss mit einem Fahrzeugterminal der MFT1x-Serie verbunden. Die nötigen Treiber werden automatisch installiert. Die MFT1x seitliche Tastatur ist mit den folgenden Betriebssystemen kompatibel: ®  Windows Embedded Standard 7 ®...
  • Page 7 Bei Befestigung rechts, werden die seitlichen Schnittstellen des MFT1x verdeckt, diese sind somit nicht mehr zugänglich. Die MFT1x seitliche Tastatur ist optional mit einem zusätzlichen, auf der Rückseite angebrachten, USB-Hub verfügbar. Achtung: Bei Verwendung des optionalen USB-Hubs ist der IP-Schutz IP65 nur gewährleistet, wenn die Gummiabdichtung geschlossen ist.

    4 Tastaturlayout Die MFT1x seitliche Tastatur ist mit 39 Tasten in drei Ebenen aufgebaut. Die Ebenen können durch Anwahl von den Tasten „Rot“ und „Grün“ umgeschaltet werden, die Rückmeldung erfolgt durch eine rote bzw. grüne Status-LED.     5.1 Programmiermodus Der Programmiermodus wird über das gleichzeitige Drücken der Tasten „4“, „5“ und „6“ erreicht. Voraussetzung für den Programmiermodus ist, dass sich die MFT1x seitliche Tastatur in der ersten Tastenebene befindet (rote und grüne LED aus). Bei aktiviertem Programmiermodus leuchten die rote und grüne LED statisch.

    5.2.3 Tastatur im Gerätemanager Die MFT1x seitliche Tastatur wird, nachdem sie im Programmiermodus ist, im Gerätemanager unter COM & LPT als USB-Tastatur angezeigt (hier als COM8). The MFT1x side keyboard is optionally available with an additional rear-mounted USB hub.
