You can remove links to adjust the watch band length.
1 Turn the knob counter-clockwise to make room in the slot.

QUICK SETUP GUIDE
Before using your new product, please read these instructions to prevent any damage.
2 Place the band into the slot with the arrows on the
backside of the band face up and pointing away from the
pin removal rod, and then align the pin in the watch band
link with the rod.
3 Turn the knob clockwise so that the rod pushes the pin
partially out of the watch band link. Turn the knob
counter-clockwise to open the slot, and then remove the
watch band and pull the pin completely out of the band
link.
