For your safety, do not SlingBoard if you are pregnant. • The SlingStick should always remain out to your side, at least one foot out from the edge of the SlingBoard. Keep the SlingStick out that distance from the SlingBoard to minimize any chance of it hitting the board or wheels, which could cause an abrupt stop and serious injury.
2. Next turn the SlingStick and thread the short end of the Post Bolt into the long end through the hole in the other side. Use a flat head screw driver to tighten it down snug. Your SlingStick is now ready to operate in the “POWER RESPONSE”...

3. Hold your SlingStick in the position you would paddle in to determine if the Handle is set in the position that is most comfortable of you. If so, you may move on to step 5 in these instructions. If not, it is easy to turn the Handle.
1. To change your SlingStick from the “POWER RESPONSE” mode to the “LOCKED MODE” locate the included Detent Pin. Locate the locking hole in the black outside tube of the SlingStick which is 9” from the bottom of that tube. Stand over the SlingStick and wedge it in underneath your arm, pinching it in between your arm and body and gripping it with that hand.

SlingStick do the work from there and stop pulling, then just let your forward momentum take you through the back half of the stroke. As you do this lean into the SlingStick slightly and put your weight into it. It is very important to keep the SlingStick in contact with the ground throughout the entire stroke as this will generate the power.
5/32” Allen Key (Included) The SlingStick comes loaded with a 10” Low Power band in it and it is recommended that first time users start with that band. If you are an experienced user and would like to change to the included 6”...

Remove the Post Bolt in the center hole of the SlingStick with a flat head screwdriver. Carefully turn the SlingStick over (covering the top with one hand) and let the Inside Tube slide out of the Outside Tube. Page 9 of 21...
Page 10
Locate the two (2) Phillips Flat Head Screws at the top of the Inside Tube and remove them with the Phillips head screwdriver. Remove the Piston pin from the Lower Piston by pushing it through with a Phillips head screwdriver. If you feel strong resistance when pushing it out turn the tube around to push out from the other side.
Page 11
Next slide the black Piston assembly out of the top of the Inside Tube. Hand unthread the Pistons at both ends of the Power Band. Replace or change out the Power Band if needed by threading on a new or different band. Hand tighten both Pistons onto the new Powerband until they are snug, but do not overtighten.
Page 12
Hold the piston assembly up from the side so that the hole in the Lower Piston is visible. The hole in the Lower Piston should be well aligned with the small hole in the side of the Upper Piston. If it is not, unthread the Lower Piston just enough to align.
Page 13
Align the Upper piston by turning it from the exposed section at the top so that the holes in the Upper Piston are well aligned with those at the top of the Inside Tube. Next push the Piston Pin back into the Lower Piston with a Phillips head screwdriver.
Page 14
Use the Phillips head screw driver to insert both Phillips Flat Head Screws back into the two holes at the top of the Inside Tube, one goes in on each side locking the Upper Piston back into place inside. Next slide the Inside Tube back down into the Outside Tube by inserting the bottom end of the Inside Tube into the top end of the Outside Tube.
Page 15
If the Inside Tube gets hung-up on the Lower Bushing in the Outside Tube and will not pass through it then while holding both upward with the Lower Bushing down at the bottom, reach a finger into the Outside Tube and push the leading edge of the Inside Tube inward and free of that bushing, that will allow it to pass through.
Page 16
Next locate the Handle and slide it back into the Outside Tube. Turn it so that it is positioned like it was before removing it in relation to the SlingStick decal on the side. Then turn it slightly if needed to align the holes in it with those at the top of the Outside Tube.
