4 wires connections (4W-MODBUS). As stated at the beginning of this manual the SIUTCP2 converter has been tested only with the 2W connection. For this reason, if there is not any reason to use the 4W-MODBUS (e.g. an existing serial line ) a 2W-MODBUS based system is the right choice. -
