Instructions for Mr. Soaker Hose #544 Timer:
Place cloth or use your hands to cover the solar panel before you install the 2‐AA Ni‐MH rechargeable batteries (High quality alkaline batteries may be used). New
rechargeable batteries usually need charging before use. Either fully charge your batteries or place in the timer for 3 days before programming. To re‐set timer,
remove batteries then re‐install.
◎Rain stop function
The rain sensor is the 2 contacts on top, next to the solar panel. Timer will stop immediately when raining, and it will not work until next running time after water
collecting area is dry.
Energy Saving Mode: This model has a built‐in electricity saving function. If there is not any operation, water timer will be in the sleeping mode. Press the third key
(wake up), then you can continue setting up the water timer. (Sleeping mode only stops the LCD from showing to save power, water timer is still running)
Battery Low Power: If Battery power is low LCD will display
batteries and reset time/programs.
*If you choose to select off mode
*The watering frequency has to be longer than 10 seconds, otherwise the setting is not complete.
*When inserting the batteries the valve will rotate automatically to make sure the valve is off.
*If there is no activity in programming after 60 seconds the timer will be in the sleeping mode.
