Hold the foot down with one hand and raise or lower the saw by the handle. Tighten lever at the desired depth.

Align to desired angle on calibrated quadrant. Then tighten bevel adjustment first, then the depth adjustment lever (Fig. - Page 9 The saw will feel a little different with the 10 ¼” blade.
