- Page 5 CHAPTER 1 - Vehicle The Endura is an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) that can record live video and capture photos in HD. Using our innovative iPad or laptop applications, you fly the Endura through the water viewing the live video feed as if you were under the water yourself.

VEHICLE Topside Box The topside box produces the Wi-Fi signal that connects to a user supplied iPad or PC/Mac. It is also to connect an Ethernet cable to a laptop for more reliable network connection. The topside box is water resistant but special care should be taken to keep it safely out of the water. -

VEHICLE Wall plug Charger How to Charge the Vehicle 1. The vehicle needs to be charged fully before every use. Connect the two wall plug wires into the charger. Then connect the chargers to a wall plug. Charger cable 2. Connect the charger wires into the connector of the charger cable as shown at right. -

VEHICLE BEFORE USING THE ENDURA Important: Before operating the Endura, always inspect the dome for any cracks/damages that may have occurred during transport, storage or use. If you find any sign of damage, contact Aquabotix customer service immediately and do not submerge your vehicle in water. VEHICLE SETTING UP THE ENDURA 1. Ensure your vehicle is not connected to the topside box or charger. Inspect and Clean SubConn connector. The SubConn connector needs to be treated with proper care – please follow the instructions from the manufacturer, which are included in Appendix A at the end of this manual. - Page 11 VEHICLE 5. Connect the tether to the topside box. After the connector is inserted, twist the ring around the connector until tightened. 6. Turn the topside box power on using the middle switch. 7. The Endura is now fully powered on and ready for connection to a laptop or iPad.

VEHICLE ADJUSTING BUOYANCY 1. Loosen the back bolt on the skid using the 3/32 Allen wrench and 11/32 open end wrench. 2. Tilt the bracket up. 3. Add the extra weights for salt water operation. 4. Move the bracket back in line with skid. Insert bolt and tighten. -

Warranty Endura One Year Limited Warranty Certificate Aquabotix warrants that, under normal use and service, the Endura will be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, applies only to the original purchaser and may not be transferred.
