WARRANTY
Zetron warrants that all equipment manufactured by or sold under Zetron label is
free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of shipment. For your
convenience, Zetron may purchase and supply items manufactured by others.
This will be disclosed to you. In these cases other warranties may apply. Consult
with Zetron for specific details. Zetron's warranty extends one year from date of
shipment and covers parts and labor. Buyer must provide written notice to Zetron
within the warranty period of any defect. If the defect is not the result of improper
use, service, maintenance or installation, and if the equipment has not been
otherwise damaged or modified after shipment, Zetron shall either replace or repair
the defective parts or replace the equipment or refund the purchase price at
Zetron's option, after return of such equipment by buyer to Zetron. Shipment shall
be paid for by the buyer. No credit shall be allowed for work performed by the
buyer. Equipment found to be not defective shall be returned at buyer's expense
and testing and handling expense shall be borne by the buyer. Out-of-warranty
repairs will be invoiced at the current Zetron hourly rate plus the cost of needed
components.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Zetron makes no representation with respect to the contents of this document
and/or the contents, performance, and function of any accompanying software and
specifically disclaims any warranties, expressed or implied, as to merchantability,
fitness for purpose sold, description, or quality.
Further, Zetron reserves the right to revise this document or the accompanying
software and to make changes in it from time to time without obligation to notify
any person or organization of such revisions or changes.
This document and any accompanying software are provided "as is." Zetron shall
not under any circumstances be responsible for any indirect, special, incidental, or
consequential damages or losses to the buyer or any third party arising out of or
connected with the buyer's purchase and use of Zetron's products or services.

    1. GRILLE PANEL This removable panel covers the user adjustments and protects the alarm speaker. 2. POWER ON/OFF This switch turns the unit ON when ready for use. 3. FOUR- There is a set of four DIP switches POSITION DIP located above the ON/OFF switch.
  • Page 6 AUTO-REG: UP: In addition to its normal operation, the CellPhone Detector Plus will recognize and alarm on short duration radio transmissions such as cellular telephone registration signals. See “Auto-Registration ...” on page 9 for more details on the operation of this function.

TEST/MUTE When the CellPhone Detector Plus is in a non-alarm state, pressing this button simulates an alarm condition and activates the alarm. This is useful for checking the integrity of the unit and the volume setting.

    Alarm Output stays in the low impedance state for the entire length of the alarm message. At the end of the message the CellPhone Detector Plus checks to see if an RF signal is still present. If no RF signal is present the alarm output returns to the high impedance state.

    INSTALLATION If the CellPhone Detector Plus is to be battery operated or battery backed-up AC power is desired; prior to putting the unit into service, install the batteries (not included). See “Battery Replacement” on page 13. Placement To make the unit easily visible to room occupants, place the CellPhone Detector Plus about 2 meters above the floor.

ACTIVATION After installing batteries in your CellPhone Detector Plus or if an external power supply is to be used, remove the trim panel on the front and make the following adjustments. See the diagram on page 3 for switch locations.

    24 seconds, then the unit has shut down completely due to lack of battery power. If the CellPhone Detector Plus is operated using an external power source, the low battery alarm will not operate unless the external power source is disconnected.

    1. Remove the front trim panel by gently pulling forward on each of its ends. Slide the power switch to OFF. 2. If mounted on a wall, remove the CellPhone Detector Plus from the wall (lift it up, then away).

    EXTERNAL DC POWER The CellPhone Detector Plus can be powered by an external DC source of 9 to 12 volts and a minimum of 300 mA. Typically this will be an AC wall adapter. When an external DC source is used, batteries should still be installed for emergency back-up.
