    Foreword We warmly thank you for having chosen a MATROT M24D Hellios self-propelled machine and we are delighted that you have decided to trust us for your spraying operations. We request that you read this instruction manual and the maintenance log carefully. These two documents contain all the information you need to use, adjust and maintain your self-propelled machine.

    This component is available on the M24D Hellios 25 km/h machine as an option (for pneumatic seat, bellows and pneumatic spray cutout options). It is fitted as standard on the M24D Hellios 40 km/h machine for switching from 25 to 40 km/h mode. However, the pneumatic seat, bellows and pneumatic cutout remain options.

    X. SPRAYING The self-propelled sprayer, M24D Hellios, is equipped with 2 lever-operated valves. All functions (filling, incorporation, spraying, rinsing, transfer, etc.) are controlled using these 2 valves: one suction valve and one discharge valve. The suction valve is identified with letters.

    15.2.1. Adjusting brightness and contrast Press the right key when the menu bar is not displayed to adjust brightness and contrast. Adjust brightness by pressing keys 1 and 2. Key 1 can be used to reduce brightness and key 2 to increase brightness. Adjust contrast using keys 3 and 4. Key 3 can be used to reduce contrast and key 4 to increase contrast. Brightness Contrast You can quit the contrast and brightness menu by pressing key 5. The settings programmed will be saved in a non-volatile memory and will be automatically re-activated when the display is turned on. RE-ACTIVATING CONTRAST If the contrast has been set in a manner leaving the screen unreadable and impossible to adjust you must reset the screen by pressing the 4 keys simultaneously, which will re-activate the screen and the display will return to basic mode 15.2.2. Alarms previously viewed will be shown in black text on a grey background. New alarms will be shown in grey text on a black background. If engine hours are available, the list will also display the operating time at which the first warning message was received. When you open the failure code screen, the most recent failure will be displayed first. If the list of failures is longer than screen space allows, scroll using keys 1 and 2. You can only quit this screen if you have changed the failure display mode (black background > grey back- ground). Press key 3 for this purpose.     Configuration mode can be obtained by pressing key 5 for at least 3 seconds when the display is in normal operating mode. The configuration menu which appears on the screen is shown below. Keys 1 and 2 can be used to select the "setting or system" menu, key 4 can be used to enter the highlighted menu. Key 5 can be used to quit the menu and confirm modifications to a non-volatile memory. The auxiliary menu, "SETTINGS", can be used to configure the display based on user preferences. Select UNITS from the SETTINGS menu to access 5 parameters which can be displayed with the units selected from the list. Use keys 1 and 2 to select a parameter and then press key 4 to scroll through the different units available. Press key 5 to confirm and quit the menu. The LANGUAGE menu can be used to select the required language. Press keys 1 and 2 to go to the required language, and then press key 4 to select, followed by key 5 to confirm the selected language and quit the menu. The BLEEP menu can be used to activate a Beep when the different keys are pressed. NOTE: even if the BLEEP is de-activated, an audio alarm will be triggered for an "alarm" engine failure. The DISPLAY menu can be used to define the max. speed displayed on the tachometer, the max. speed displayed (not used) on the speed indicator and the time span between 2 points displayed in graphic mode. The SERVICE menu can be used to define a period between two overhauls. The display will inform the operator when an overhaul is required. Enter 0 hours to de-activate this function. After the overhaul, the technician must press on the middle key for at least 2 seconds (until a beep is heard) and the service alarm will then be de-activated until the time interval programmed between two overhauls is once again exceeded.
