INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

PETERBILT 579 DASH MOUNT
This instruction sheet is for the Gamber-Johnson Peterbilt 579 dash mount. For
other products sold by Gamber-Johnson please reference their specific instruction
sheets.
The Peterbilt 579 dash mount is designed to mount in the opening for the yellow
parking brake and red trailer air supply pull knobs. You will need a Zirkona for Big
Rigs mount to complete the solution.
Attaching the mount:
1. Remove the yellow and red
pull knobs for the parking
brake and trailer air supply by
unscrewing them counter
clockwise.
2. Remove the center dash
panel by pulling it straight
outward from the dash. It is
held in place with spring clips.
3. Remove the (4) phillips
head machine screws that
hold the parking brake and air
supply controler to the back
side of the dash panel.
4. Place the dash panel
bracket over the holes and
reattach the (4) phillips head
machine screws removed in
step 3.
