3. Troubleshooting

3-7 When Two Staples Are Not Aligned with Fold Line

(Cause)
Stopper is not properly positioned.
(Remedy)
Adjust stopper position.
1.
Open SPF-9 top cover.
2.
Loosen lock knob shown in the drawing
at right.
3.
Adjust arrow position with stopper
adjust knob to correct position stopper.
NOTE
-When staples are positioned on right side of
folding line, move the arrow to left. When
staples are on left side of folding line, move
the arrow to right.
4.
Fasten lock knob.
5.
Adjust stopper position to sheet length
by turning head stopper adjust handle.
NOTE
-Whenever stopper is adjusted with stopper
adjust knob, check and adjust stopper posi-
tion.
6.
Hold support bar with left hand and
close SPF-9 top cover.
