- Page 2 • ALWAYS unplug the KoiAir™ compressor from the power source before installing, removing or servicing the KoiAir™ components. - Page 3 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: See Video Instructions of the KoiAir™ (KA40) Diaphragm installation online at airmaxeco.com/InstallKA40 Tools Required: • Phillips Screwdriver • 7mm Nut Driver • Small Pick Tool Remove the Casing FLIP the compressor over and remove 4 screws securing the outer casing using a #2 phillips screwdriver, then separate the upper and lower casing.
- Page 4 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Continued... Separate Diaphragms Use a small pick tool to separate the outer diaphragm from the inner diaphragm. Remove Center Ring REMOVE and save the center retaining nut and two washers using your 7mm nut driver. Remove Inner Diaphragm REMOVE the inner diaphragm including the diaphragm front boards and back boards.
- Page 5 Push Front Board into Place A Push the front board firmly into place and make sure the pegs come through evenly on the reverse side of the inner diaphragm. Place Metal Rings PLACE the two metal rings onto the inner diaphragm assembly.
- Page 6 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Continued... Re-Install Outer Diaphragm RE-INSTALL the outer diaphragm assembly by matching up the notch on the assembly with the notch on the compressor motor and secure with the 4 assembly screws. Reconnect the Rubber Boot RECONNECT the rubber boot to the outer diaphragm assembly.
- Page 7 CHANGING THE AIR FILTER: Remove the Filter Cap REMOVE the air filter cap by pulling from the bottom edge first. Remove Filter REMOVE the worn air filter by pinching and pulling straight out. Replace the air filter with a new one by pressing new filter into place.
