INTRODUCTION The OSCAR8™ is a premium, angled eyepiece 27 – 55 x 80 mm spotting scope. The OSCAR8 features an industry leading HDX™ optical design - combining extra-low dispersion glass with high light transmittance glass, SCHMIDT-PECHAN prism and fully multi-coated lenses to provide unmatched resolution, image contrast, color clarity and image brightness.

sigsauer.com SET UP Attaching the Eyepiece 1. Begin with the Eyepiece Lock Ring in the unlocked position, do this by turning the lock ring counter- clockwise. 2. Align the white magnification indication dot on the Eyepiece with the “Lock” image on the Eyepiece Lock Ring and insert.
Page 8 Detaching the Eyepiece 1. To detach the eyepiece, rotate the Eyepiece Lock Ring counter-clockwise until unlocked symbol matches up with the white indication dot on the scope body. 2. Rotate the eyepiece counterclockwise 1/8 turn and pull it straight out of the body.

Adjusting Magnification The magnification adjustments on the OSCAR8 allow you to see a wider field of view at lower settings and increased detail at higher settings. 1. To select lower magnification, rotate the power selector ring clockwise (-). 2. To select higher magnification, rotate the power selector ring counterclockwise ( + ).

Tripod Mount Adjustment The OSCAR8 can be easily mounted to a tripod or vehicle window adapter. The rotating collar allows the OSCAR8 to be mounted in multiple orientations. 1. Attach the Tripod Foot (G) to any tripod I vehicle mount that uses a 1/4 x 20 screw thread.
