FBII ZR401 Installation Instructions

General Information

The ZR401/ZR402/OMNI-RF is an RF receiver for use with compatible control panels. The receiver
provides communication between wireless devices and the control panel.
The ZR402 (version 1.2) and Omni-RF support RF Jam detection. Refer to the control panel
instructions for details and programming.
Mounting the Receiver, Ground
Lugs, and Antennas
1. Remove the door of the security
system enclosure (A) to expose
the control panel.
2. Loosen both screws on the
control panel antenna block (1).
3. Insert ground lug (2) into the
left-hand terminal of the
control panel antenna block (1)
and secure lug to the enclosure
using the self-tapping screw (3)
provided.
4. Insert the antenna (4) into the
right-hand terminal of the
control panel antenna block (1).
5. Secure the ground lug (2) and
antenna (4) by tightening both
screws on the control panel
antenna block (1).
IMPORTANT!
For best possible
performance of the
Receiver, it is extremely
important to be sure that
the ground lug connection
is solid to both the
enclosure and to the
antenna block.
