The following instructions are your guide to assembling the IKEA Mammut

children's chair.

What's in my IKEA Mammut Children's Chair Package?

Piece A: Square Seat (x1)

A1- Side A1 has three slots (A1A) along one of its edges

A1A- Set of three slots on side A1

A2- Side A2 has a leg hole (A2A) in each corner

A2A- Leg holes on side A2

Piece B: Hollow Leg (x4)

B1- Narrow end of Leg (B)

B1A- Line along B1

B2- Wide end of Leg (B)

B2A- Wedge inside B2

Piece C: Leg Cap (x4)

C1- Slit in Leg Cap (C) rim

Piece D: Wooden Block (x1)

Piece E: Backrest with Slats (x1)

E1- Side of slats with a protruding peg

Page 2 A hammer A clear space Soft ground to work on. Why? Assembling your IKEA Mammut children’s chair directly on hard ground like tile or concrete could damage your pieces. It is best to work on carpet or a large rug.
Page 3 Part II. Hammer time. 1. Unpack the small wooden block (D) from your IKEA package. 2. Place the block (D) on top of the flat surface of the leg cap (C). Keep it centered and still. 3. Hammer the block (D) until the narrow leg end (B1) is secure inside the hole (A2A) of the seat (A2).
