HOW IT WORKS

The almando Masterplay was developed to allow Bang & Olufsen Masterlink speakers
to continue to be used, even if no Masterlink capable device (B&O TV or B&O audio
system) is available in the Masterlink network.
Not only newer B&O devices (without Masterlink) but also devices from other
manufacturers can be connected to B&O Masterlink speakers, as long as they have a
volume controllable output:
- TVs from Bang & Olufsen, Loewe, Metz, Sony, TechniSat, etc.
- Audio devices from B&O (z.B. BeoSound Core, etc.)
- Audio devices from other manufacturerd (e.g. Apple Airport Express,
Google Chromecast Audio, Sonos Connect, etc.
Example of use: BeoLab 3500 as a soundbar for a Sony TV
As soon as you switch on the TV with the TV remote control, the almando Masterplay
automatically turns on the BeoLab 3500. You do not need a B&O remote control for
this.
