  • Page 17 WHAT SHOULD BE DONE IN WINTER TO MAINTAIN THE BATTERY IN GOOD CONDITION? During the long periods when you will not be using your EBGO, store the battery inside your house after charging it completely for about 2 hours; afte- rward, you must charge your battery during one hour every (2) two months.
  • Page 18 YOU MUST AVOID USING AN EAB DURING THE WINTER (FOR YOUR SAFETY AND FOR PROPER FUNCTIONING OF YOUR EAB). AVOID SALT, SAND, CALCIUM, WATER AND ICE AND YOUR EBGO WILL PERFORM MUCH BETTER. USING YOUR BICYCLE IN SUCH CONDITIONS WOULD VOID YOUR WARRANTY.

    DESCRIPTION WITHOUT PEDALING MODE To activate the throttle, the level of assistance must be between 1 and 5. While stopped or running, simply turn the thumb throttle to the right on the handlebar to move forward. To climb some slopes, it is possible that you have to pedal more.

    ASSISTANCE (5 LEVELS) • Position 0 When you pedal, the engine will not start. • Position 1 When you pedal, the engine starts, providing around 10% assistance. This requires slightly less effort to circulate, for example, on a flat path at low speed.
  • Page 24 CRUISE CONTROL Press on thumb throttle (left on the handlebar) until you reach the desired speed, then hold that speed and press the down arrow on the control panel for a few seconds until you see on display the sign of the cruise control (on top), then release the acceleration handle and the speed will be maintained.
  • Page 25 Your ebGO CC48+ has been checked just before shipping so that you have an electric bike in good condition. To complete the installation, you only have to install the pedals and the stem. You can also adjust the height of the handlebar and the position of the saddle for optimal comfort.

    COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION INSTALL FRONT WHEEL Align the wheel in the front axle and secure it paying attention to the disc brake. When inserting the front wheel, make sure that the disc on the left side is properly inserted in the brake caliper. Press the front brake lever to apply pressure to the disc so that the wheel is properly centered and locked.
  • Page 27 INSTALL THE PEDALS Please use the supplied 15mm wrench to install the pedals. Also, be sure to install the pedal on the good side of the bike. Both pedals are stamped “L” and “R” for left and right on the side of the screw. Securely tighten the pedals by turning clockwise for the right pedal and counterclockwise for the left pedal.
