V-plow mounting kit for groundsmaster 3320 and groundsmaster 3280-d traction unit

1. R.H. lift arm
7. Mount the L.H. lift arm to the left tube of the
attachment frame with (3) 7/16 x 3–1/2 inch screws,
(6) .469 x .922 flat washers and (3) 7/16 lock nuts
(Figure 4).
8. Move the traction unit into position behind the
V-plow (Figure 5).

1. Long pin
9. Mount the R.H. lift arm to the V-plow with a long
mounting pin and (2) cotter pins (Figure 5).
10. Mount the L.H. lift arm to the V-plow with a short
mounting pin and (2) cotter pins (Figure 5).
11. Adjust the V-plow as follows:
• With plow contacting flat surface, adjust
capscrew (Figure 6) upward against push
arm-until front of plow begins to move up: then
bottom jam nut (Figure 6) against stop bracket.

• Loosen carriage bolts and nuts retaining nose
skid to front of plow (Figure 7). Next, adjust
nose skid so it's bottom edge is even with bottom
of plow (Figure 7). Lastly, tighten nuts and
carriage bolts so nose skid remains in place.
Important: When scraper blades or nose
skid (Figure 7) wear down, they can be
reversed by removing carriage bolts and
nuts. Never allow scraper blades or nose skid
to wear even with bottom surface of plow.
Reverse scraper blades or nose skid before
plow starts to wear.

1. Scraper blade
• If plow will be used on concrete or asphalt
surfaces, the post skids (Figure 8) must be
adjusted upward so plow contacts surface. By
contrast, skids must be adjusted downward-raise
plow off surface-when plow will be used on
gravel or crushed rock surfaces. To adjust the
post skids, remove pin and adjust the spacers.
