SPECIFICATIONS Technical specifications HR 5002 DR HR 6002 DR HR 5002 DR - S HR 6002 DR - S Working width m / ft 5.00 / 16'5" 6.00 / 19' 8" Max. allowable DIN power kW / hp 206 / 280 Min.
SIGNALLING ELEMENTS Fix the support (1) of the preassembled signalling panels on the frame of the machine with 4 hexagonal screws (2) (M 10 x 100), 4 self-locking nuts (M 10) and 2 flat iron bars (3) (photo 1). Fix the wiring harness on the machine frame with the supplied clamp collars.
DR must always rest on the soil with the 2 half-harrows unfolded (photo 3). The HR 5002 DR - 6002 DR can be attached to all tractors equipped with a Cat. 3 three-point linkage. The independently floating lower links (C) facilitate this operation.
P.T.O. DRIVE SHAFT Make sure the rotary harrow is resting on the ground and is maintained in a stable position with the rollers. Install the PTO shaft making sure that the clamp yoke is on the machine end. Tighten both M 16 bolts to 22 daNm / 160 ft.lbs.
Page 16
To avoid accidents which could be serious, make sure that the guards are always correctly in place and secured with the safety chains. The safety chain on the machine side must be attached in the hole pro- vided in the metal guard of the cen- tral gearbox (see figure 6).
WALTERSCHEID CAM TYPE SAFETY CLUTCH Each side bevel gearbox is fitted with a Walterscheid cam type safety clutch as standard. These adjustable safety clutches are based on the principle of disengaging cams. They are activated when there is an overload and disengage the drive of the machine. They are factory adjusted to a maximum tractor power of 206 kW (280 DIN hp) and for a PTO speed (rotational frequency) of 1000 rpm (min After a torque cut-out, it is important to disengage the PTO drive and lift the machine out of work.
ROTOR SPEED (ROTATIONAL FREQUENCY) The HR 5002 DR / 6002 DR / 5002 DR - S / 6002 DR - S must only be driven at a PTO speed (rotational frequency) of 1000 rpm (min ). All gearboxes are factory fitted with a rear PTO shaft which rotates at the same speed (rotational frequency) as the tractor PTO shaft.
ROLLERS According to the user’s choice, the rotary power harrows can be equipped with : - either 2 maxicrumbler rollers (with welded tubes) (only for HR 6002 DR / 6002 DR - S), - either 2 packer rollers (rows of continuous studs welded on a cylinder), - or 2 maxipacker rollers (rows of discontinuous studs welded on a large diameter cylinder).

Page 22
b) Adjusting the scraper plates - The hard coated thick scraper plates have been factory pre-set on a reference roller. Therefore, they are nearly in the correct working position after mounting the scraper bar (paragraph a, page 19). When the machine is attached to the tractor, always check that the roller can rotate freely.
SIDE DEFLECTORS Anti-ridging plate (G) fitted to side deflectors (L) mounted at either side of the machine are adjustable in height and forward position. a) Height adjustment : Three positions exist de- pending on working depths and blade wear. To adjust the side deflectors (L), remove the 6 bolts (F), place the plate (G) to its new position and re- tighten the bolts (F) (torque 10 daNm / 75 ft.lbs) (photo 12).
FRONT SOIL LOOSENING SHARE A soil loosening share (S) fixed at the front of the machine lifts the non worked strips of land between both harrow halves. It is adjustable in height (connecting pin n° 1) to match the machine’s working depth. The second connecting pin (2), at rest (photo 13), gives the opportunity to raise the soil loosening share to increase the ground clearance during transport.
TRANSPORT BEFORE FOLDING THE MACHINE INTO TRANSPORT POSITION, MAKE SURE NOBODY IS IN THE PIVOTING AREA OF THE HALF-HARROWS. In order to change the machine from working position (photo 16) into transport position proceed as follows : - lift the machine clear off the ground with the tractor’s 3-point lift, - make sure no one is in the manoeuvring zone, - if the machine is equiped with a rear hydraulic...
