INTRODUCTION AND FEATURES: Ford licenced ride on for children, which has 3 x different assembly modes to adapt to your child’s development stages. Stroller: features a canopy for sun protection and a handle for parental control. Walker: the child sits on the seat and uses their feet to push the car. Ride-on mode: a foot pedal is added and the child can sit on the seat and push on the foot pedal using their foot to drive the car. The car also features: • Re-chargeable battery (charger included). • Music playback function by connecting your MP3 player to the aux in port or music playback by adding your memory card to the TF card socket. • Built in music tunes and horn sound – by pressing the buttons on the steering wheel. • Ignition start up sound and lights, when the car is turned on by pressing the red switch near the steering wheel.

SAFETY INFORATION AND WARNINGS: 1. Children using this product must be under the supervision of an adult at all times. 2. In the interests of safety, DO NOT use this product on public roads, near motor vehicles, uneven ground, swimming pools or where there is water. Do not let children ride in the street, anywhere dangerous including slopes with more than 10 degrees, next to bodies of water and away from other obstacles. Use during day light hours or in an illuminated area is advised to avoid accidents in the dark. 3. Do not drive on long or wet grass, mud, soft ground, gravel or sand. 4. Do not drive near anything flammable or explosive. Keep any hazardous chemicals out if the drivers reach. 5. Suitable for children aged 3+ years old. It is recommended that children always wear shoes and other protective clothing and equipment (eg: helmet, gloves, kneepads etc.) during use. 6. This car must only be used by a single child, maximum load is 23 kg. This is advisable to avoid damage to the motor, gears and to prohibit overloading. 7. When the bike is running, do not place anything on the moving parts such as the motor, gear box, wheels or steering wheel. 8. Please keep the product and all parts away from children before full assembly has been completed by a responsible adult. 9. These instructions contain important information, please retain them after product assembly. 10. Assembly of the car must be completed by an adult. 11. To avoid suffocation or choking, keep all bags and small parts away from babies and children. MAINTENCE AND TROUBLE SHOOTING: Factors which may influence the motor tricycles performance and life span: - How flat the driving surface is - The weight of the driver - Whether the battery has been fully charged - Whether the motor tricycle is regularly used - Whether water or any other liquid has eroded the electrical Components CLEANING: Clean the motor tricycle with a soft dry cloth. Do not use any wax or spray liquids for cleaning. It could erode the power switch.
Please take care with the battery as it contains acid electrolyte. Handling of the battery by adults only. If the battery has leaked, do not touch the acid. Place the battery into a polybag and dispose of it. If the electrolyte splashes on your skin or into your eyes, immediately wash with water for at least 15 minutes and consult your doctor. Do not contact the batteries two terminals with any other metal objects. It will cause short circuiting, damage or fire. Never push or pull the bike backward when it is running. Do not plug the charger into any non-working or faulty wall socket. Thiscould cause short circuiting or fire. BEFORE USE: CONNECTING THE BATTERY: The battery for this bike is located under the seat. To access the battery, remove the battery cover. Ensure that the battery is connected up properly with the black lead on black battery terminal and the red lead on the red battery terminal. If the battery was not connected up properly you will need to connect it and then recharge the bike again. Also, after charging ensure the charger is not connected when you go to drive the bike. Ensure the bike is in forwards mode or backwards mode and then push on the foot pedal to drive it. CHARGING THE BIKE: The bike must be charged prior to it’s first use. The charging port is located under the seat of the bike. Ensure the battery is connected correctly before charging. If the battery is not connected and you charge the bike, the battery will not be charging. Once the battery is connected correctly, connect the charger to the charging port and the other end of the charger into an earthed power point. The forward/reverse switch must not be on either mode when charging. The charging time is 8 – 12 hours. The first hour of charging can get back 60% of the batteries energy back. You may leave it to charge overnight, but NEVER continuously over 20 hours. Otherwise you will shorten the batteries life. Please note, the motor tricycle cannot be driven when charging. Do not insert any metal pieces into the charging hole as to avoid short circuiting and any damage to the electro circuit. This vehicle has a function of charging protection and while it is being charged, other functions can not be used.
PARTS LIST: Quantity needed: 8 x washers 4 x split pins 4 x screws For assembly, a pair of long nose pliers and a phillips head screw driver and required. The pliers and screwdriver are not included.

ASSEMBLY: CONNECTING THE WHEELS 1. Add the 3 x normal wheels to the axel. Secure the wheels to the axel by fitting the split pins to the holes on the axel. The order of adding parts to the axel is: washer, wheel, washer, split pin, wheel cap. Use pliers to separate the split pin to hold the wheel in place before adding the wheel cap, as per the photo below. 2. Add the driving wheel to the car. The driving wheel has a cog on it which matches up to the gear box. The order of adding parts to the axel on the side of the car with the gear box is: wheel, washer, split pin, wheel cap. Use pliers to separate the split pin to hold the wheel in place before adding the wheel cap. CONNECTING THE STEERING WHEEL 1. Add 1 x washer to the steering wheel rod.

2. Insert the steering wheel rod through the centre of the font axel. Feed the rod through the body of the bike. 3. Add the steering wheel to the top of the steering rod. Ensure the holes on the steering wheel rod match up with the holes on the cylinder of the steering wheel. Connect the wires from the steering wheel to the wires Use the steering wheel bolt and nut to secure the steering wheel. Use a screwdriver (not included) to do this.

6. Connect the two coloured wires from the steering wheel to the corresponding two coloured wires coming from the steering hole on the body of the bike. ADD THE PEDAL: 1. Clip the foot pedal to the underside of the bike. 2. Connect the wire from the foot pedal to the wire from the underside of the bike, when the bike will be used in ride on mode. If the bike is going to be used as a stroller with the handle, do not connect the wires from the pedal to the wire from the under side of the bike. The child then will not be able to operate the bike with the foot pedal accidently while it has the handle attached for parental control. 3. Secure the foot pedal to the underside of the car using the included screws. 4. To remove the foot pedal from the bike (eg: if the bike will be used as a walker), remove the screws and dis-connect the wires from the pedal and the underside of the bike. Unclip the pedal from the underside of the bike.

ADD THE MIRRORS: 1. Clip the mirrors into the body of the car. ADD THE BACKREST AND ARM RESTS: 1. Slot the backrest into the rear or the car. 2. Add the arm rests to the backrest. Both arm rests can spin forward and connect to the steering wheel.

DIFFERENT CONGIGURATIONS: To adapt the car to either stroller, walker or rode on, please see the following steps. STROLLER 1. Insert the handle to the rear of the back rest. 2. Add the canopy to the handle. WALKER 1. Remove the pedal. 2. Remove the handle and canopy (if attached). 3. Remove the back rest and arm rests (if attached). 4. Add the rear panel to the rear of the bike. RIDE ON 1. Add the pedal. 2. Remove the handle and canopy (if attached). 3. Remove the back rest and arm rests (if attached). 4. Add the rear panel to the rear of the bike.

DRIVING IN RIDE ON MODE: Press the red switch near the steering wheel to turn the car on. Put the bike in forwards mode to move forwards or in reverse mode to move backwards. When the switch is not on either mode, the bike will not drive. Then press on the foot pedal to drive the bike. Press on the pedal to start, lift foot off the pedal to stop. MUSIC AND LIGHTS: Built in music tunes and horn sound – by pressing the buttons on the steering wheel. Music playback function by connecting your MP3 player to the aux in port music playback by adding your memory card to the TF card socket.
