1. Intended use
Use this product to observe distant objects. The optical zoom allows you to observe objects – such as animals,
buildings or trees – in great detail despite great distances. The product is also suited for protected use outdoors.
Avoid direct contact with humidity or moisture.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product for
purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. Read the instructions carefully and
keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information.
If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this
manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property.
Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
Persons / Product
• Never use the binoculars to look directly or into the vicinity of the sun or other strong light sources. This
poses a risk of loss of eyesight!
• When used improperly, the binoculars may act as a burning lens. This poses a fire hazard! Never let the
binoculars lie in the sun.
• Make sure that the binoculars are not subjected to any blows or the like as this could lead to dangerous
eye injury.
• Do not touch the lenses with your fingers.
• Do not let the binoculars swing around on the neck strap. The binoculars could hit and injure you and other
persons. The binoculars could also be damaged by striking other objects.
• Make sure that the neck strap does not catch on objects. This poses a risk of injury.
• The rubber eye cups can cause skin irritation when used for longer periods of time. In the event of skin
irritation, consult your physician.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material
for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture,
flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any
accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the product.

• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a qualified shop.

5. Operation
Adjusting eyepiece distance
• Change the positions of both eyepieces by moving them toward or away from each other.
• Binocular vision is correctly adjusted when you look through the binoculars and see the image in the form
of a circle.

Focusing
1. Look into the binoculars and aim at a distant object..
2. Close your right eye.
3. Now turn the focusing wheel (2) until the object viewed through the left eyepiece is in focus.
4. Open your right eye and close your left eye.
5. Turn the right eyecup (1) until the object viewed through the right eyepiece is in focus. Please note the plus/
minus markings beneath the right eyecup and make a note of your setting if necessary.
6. The binoculars are now adjusted to your eyes. You can now simply adjust the focus using the focusing
wheel when looking at objects at various distances.
Notes
• It is illegal to observe other persons without their knowledge and consent.
• Do not use the binoculars while moving as you could overlook and trip over obstacles.
• Moisture may build on the lens when the binoculars is subjected to rapid temperature change. This is
normal, the condensation will usually dissipate in warm spaces within an hour.
• Do not subject the binoculars to direct rain or moisture. Use the cleaning cloth to immediately wipe away
any drops of water.
6. Maintenance and cleaning
Do not apply too much pressure to the lens to prevent scratching.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as they may cause
damage to the housing or lens.
• The binoculars are maintenance-free, never open them.
• Do not submerge the binoculars in water to clean them.
• Use the included cleaning cloth or a dust brush to clean the housing and lenses. You can also use a soft,
lint-free cloth. A glasses cloth can also be used to clean the lenses. If necessary, you can moisten the cloth
with a little lukewarm water.
• Should you use a cleaning agent to clean the binoculars, make sure that no cleaning agent drips onto the
lenses. Always apply the cleaning agent directly to the cloth first.
7. Disposal
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
