Dresser™ Model 6 Transfer Prover Operation and Maintenance Manual for 2/10M and 10M Versions Introduction This manual provides information for using the Dresser Natural Gas (NGS) Model 6 Prover and its software. Operate and maintain the Prover in accordance with Factory recommendations as outlined in this manual to ensure accurate and repeatable results.
Junction Box Controller Box • This Prover also has the unique capability to test Dresser NGS meters equipped with the Integral Micro Corrector (IMCW2) and other Dresser NGS electronics, such as the ETC and ES3 Electronic Temperature Compensating Devices. The Model 6 Prover is a portable unit that can be transported into the field for on-site testing. Because the Prover is a precision instrument, transport it with care and ensure that it is properly secured and covered for protection from moisture and dirt.
