    - download the latest version of the user manual from the Internet e-BLEACH - infinity The 'e-BLEACH - infinity' is a replacement chip for the Guide of the "ZOOM! Advanced Power" bleaching device. It is designed to enable the lamp for test purposes. It is made in a way where you can always reset the state of the chip to its four times 15 minutes of usage.

    The 'e-BLEACH - 10x4' is the little brother of the 'e-BLEACH - infinity' for occasional users of the UV lamp. It is a lot cheaper but in the same way limited to nine renew cycles. Like this it is possible to enable the Lamp for ten hours.

    Remove Chip from existing guide In this section it is explained how you prepare your Guide to work with an e-BLEACH chip The original Guide Your original Guide contains a microchip on a circuidboard which has to be replaced with the e-BLEACH connectorboard.

    Turn around the Guide to finally remove the cover by sliding a screwdriver in the gap and lift the cover. Prepared guide Now you have your guide ready to insert the e-Bleach connector board.
  • Page 10: Fix The E-Bleach Device By Using The Cover Clip

    Fix the e-BLEACH device by using the cover clip There are several ways to finally fix your e-BLEACH device in the plastic of an existing Guide. The best way to do this is by using the removed cover clip like explained in this section.

    Prepare the clip Take the plastic cover you removed before from the guide and cut it with a tool like a (saw; side cutter; cutting wheel; scissors; etc) in two pieces like illustrated in the image. The important piece is the part having the hooks.

    Insert e-BLEACH connector Insert the connector board of the e-BLEACH device like displayed in the picture. Insert the clip Clip in the left over piece of the plastic cover clip. It should go all the way in and hold the connector board firmly inside the Guide.

    Fix the e-BLEACH device by using glue (only if no cover clip present) If you lost your cover clip or it was broken during the preperation process you can also fix the connector board of the e-BLEACH device using any kind of glue.

    Using the device Remove Battery Protection Before using the e-BLEACH device the battery safer foil has to be removed. For storage and unwanted battery discharging the battery is protected by foil which has to be removed before the chip can be used.

    Reset Device (find out how many cycles are left on a 'e- BLEACH - 10x4') To see how many sessions are left on a 'e-BLAECH - 10x4' just press the reset button short and see the red LED. After pressing the reset button the LED will first doubleflash. Then it will flash as many times as you can renew the device.

    - infinity Having the 'e-BLEACH - infinity' you can renew your device as often as you like. Even if you only used the device for one session you can always renew it to the full four sessions.

    Now you can release the renew button as well. If you have the 'e-BLEACH 10x4' and no more cycle left it will only doubleflash and will not renew anymore (there will be no long flash).

    Caution: If you do a renew twice, without using the chip on the lamp, you won't see the long flash either but it will be still operational.     Troubleshooting Display shows "Replace Guide" Seeing "Replace Guide" means that your device is working properly but needs to be renewed like described in the renew chapter. Display shows "Improper Guide" If your display shows "Improper Guide" please remove the Guide, and press the reset button shortly.
