HOW TO GET STARTED

Open the Battery Compartment:

The Rat Zapper Ultra battery compartment is located on the top of the unit. To open, pull the
securing tab back then lift the battery compartment door. Properly install 4 "D" batteries in the battery
holder and re-secure the lid to the battery compartment.

What do the green and red lights on the Rat Zapper Ultra mean?

GREEN LIGHT:
Battery Check - When you turn the Rat Zapper Ultra power switch to the ON position, the green light will
blink once, then turn off. This tells you the battery quality is good and all systems are a "go". After a short,
three second delay to allow your Rat Zapper electronics to check status, if the green light does not turn on at
all or there is a rapid blinking red light, replace the batteries. (See chart above for Recommended Batteries.)
RED LIGHT:
Rodent Check - The Rat Zapper Ultra red indicator light will blink repeatedly when you've killed a rodent.

the ON/OFF switch of your Rat Zapper Ultra.
