IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS


WARNING:
When using the tripod, basic precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
a )
Read all the instructions before using the tripod.
b )
Only use compatible Craftsman work light(s).
c )
To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is
necessary when a tripod is used near children.
d )
Do not use tripod after it has received a sharp
blow, malfunctions or is dropped or damaged
in any manner. Return tripod to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination,
repair, or mechanical adjustment.
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not put

tripod in water or other liquid. Do not place or store
tripod where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.

Specific Safety Rules for Tripod

WARNING: TIPPING HAZARD. To reduce the risk of
serious injury, make sure:
Place tripod on a firm, stable, flat and secure surface
before mounting/unmounting the work light or
making any adjustments to the work light/tripod.
Ensure each work light is turned off and the power
cord is unplugged before mounting or removing
from the tripod.
Use tripod on a flat, firm surface.
WHEN USING THE TWIN-LIGHT BRACKET, ALWAYS
USE TWO IDENTICAL COMPATIBLE CRAFTSMAN
WORK LIGHTS AT THE SAME TIME. Using one work
light or two different work lights with the twin-light
bracket could cause the tripod to tip over.
Always remove the work light(s) before moving the tripod.
Additional Safety Rules for Tripod

WARNING: When not in use, collapse the poles by
releasing extension locks , stow legs in upright position,
place tripod on its side on a stable surface where it will
not cause a tripping or falling hazard. Tripod may be
easily knocked over in certain situations.
Do not submerge tripod in any liquid.
This tripod is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction

concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
Store the tripod indoors when not in use. Keep out of
reach of children.
When transporting, be sure the tripod poles are fully
collapsed, the height extension locks are engaged, and
the legs are collapsed and locked into their carrying
position.
Do not disassemble tripod. Take it to an authorized
Service Center when service is required. Incorrect
reassembly may result in a safety hazard or failure of the
tripod.

DO NOT let children come into contact with the tripod.
Supervision is required when inexperienced operators use
this tripod.
