PREPARATION

NOTE: DUE TO THE HIGH VELOCITY OF AIR GENERATED BY THIS FAN, HEARING THE SOUND OF THE

Carefully remove the fan from the plastic bag and carton .
2 .
Place the Fan on a firm level surface .
3 .
Insert two AAA batteries into the remote control before using (batteries not included) .
4 .
Plug the cord set into a 120 volt outlet .
WARNING: Be sure that the plug fits tightly into outlet. When plugs fit loosely into receptacles, they
may slip partially or completely out of the receptacle with only the slight movement of the attached cord .
Receptacles in this condition may overheat and pose a serious fire hazard; if covered by a curtain or drape,
the fire hazard is even greater .
ADDING WATER TO THE WATER TANK
1 .
While the unit is off and unplugged, unscrew the top cap by turning counter-clockwise .
2 .
Add 1 gallon of distilled water . DO NOT OVER FILL THE TANK . Replace the top cap and gently
tighten . DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE CAP .
Note: Distilled Water discourages calcium buildup in the water tank .
3 .
Replace the top cap by turning clockwise and tightening .
