Connecting Cables to a Power Cable Connector

Obtaining Tools, Cables, and a Power Cable Connector

Peeling Cables
Use the 1:1 peeling indicator on

one side of the pow er cable
connector as the peeling length
reference.

4 Repeat steps 1-3 to peel a 0 V ground
cable.

Use a pair of diagonal pliers to trim off one end of

a -48 V pow er cable. Place the cable on the
peeling length reference plane, and use a utility
knife to make a mark on the cable according to
the 1:1 peeling indicator.

If a ruler is available, you can use the ruler to measure a 12 mm
peeling length after trimming off one end of a cable.
