Battery Cautions & Disposal information
This item has been designed so that the battery pack is less noticeable, by placing the battery
pack inside the burlap sack around the tree base. Please follow instructions below in order to
fully enjoy your lit tree.
1. Carefully untie the twine rope bow, which closes the burlap sack around the tree base.
2. Loosen the top of the sack opening enough to access the battery back.
3. Remove the battery pack from the sack and install 3 AA batteries.
4. Push the power button for the desired light effect (see Operating Instructions below)
5. Return the battery pack to the inside of the burlap sack and retie the twine bow.
General battery instructions:
1. Install only new batteries of the same type in your prelit item.
2. Failure to insert batteries in the correct polarity, as indicated in the battery compartment,
may shorten the life of the batteries or cause batteries to leak.
3. Do not mix old and new batteries.
4. For best results, use 3AA batteries.
5. Do not mix Alkaline, Standard (Carbon-Zinc) or Rechargeable (Nickel Cadmium) or (Nickel
Metal Hydride) batteries.
6. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
7. Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per battery manufacturer's recommendations.

DO NOT PULL ON ELECTRICAL CORD, EITHER FROM ITEM OR FROM BATTERY BOX, WITH ANY
EXCESSIVE FORCE, OR THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION MAY BE BROKEN.
USE YOUR LIT ITEM INDOORS ONLY AND PLACE IN A DRY AREA. DO NOT SUBMERGE ANY PART OF
THIS PRODUCT IN WATER.

OPERATESON 3 "AA" BATTERIES.BATTERIES NOT INCLUED.
PRESS THE BUTTON ONCE FOR TIMER FUNCTION: THE LIGHTS WILL STAY ON FOR 6 HOURS AND
SHUT OFF FOR 18 HOURS, AND THEN RELIGHT AUTOMATICALLY FOR 6 HOURS AGAIN DAILY.
PRESS THE BUTTON TWICE FOR KEEPING THE LIGHTS CONSTANTLY ON.
PRESS THE BUTTON THREE TIMES TO TURN OFF THE LIGHTS.
