  • Page 3 PRCD protective switch, user manual, in the carton box Application for Indented Purpose The diamond core drill DBE 160 is indented for professional use and may be used only by instructed personnel. With an appropriate drill bit, the tool may be used only for wet cutting of concrete, stone and masonry.
  • Page 4 Safety Instructions Safe work with the machine is only possible if you read this operating instruction and the safety instructions completely and follow the instructions contained strictly. Additionally, the general safety instructions of the leaflet supplied with the tool must be observed. Prior to the first use, the user should absolve a practical training.
  • Page 5 Stop working when water is dripping out of the overrunning bore hole and take the machine to an authorised service shop. After breakdown the machine should only be switch on again if the drill bit can be turned. On using the tool, wear ear protectors. Do not touch rotating parts.
  • Page 6 Overload Protection In order to protect the operator, the motor and the drill bit the DBE 160 is equipped with a mechanical, electronic overload protection. Mechanical: If the drill bit is suddenly blocked in the hole, a clutch will slip disengaging the bit from the motor.
