Add the correct quantity of oil before operating this generator for t he first time. When replenishing oil for subsequent use of this generator, always ensure that this generator has the correct quantity of oil. ECONOMY/SMART THROTTLE SWITCH The Economy Switch automatically reduces engine speed when loads are turned off or disconnected. When appliances are turned on or reconnected, the engine returns to the proper speed to power the electrical load. If high electrical loads are connected simu ltaneously, turn the Economy switch to the OFF position to reduce voltage changes. -

Connect the red charging wire to the positive terminal of the battery and the black charging wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
