April 28 , 2020 System Setup The system setup is divided into 4 steps. We recommend doing the installation with two persons. Step 1: Tripod Set up the two tripods and make sure that you have a secure stand. To do this, unfold the tripod legs and lock them at the central locking screw.

Insert a butt connector set at each of the mounting holes provided in the profiles and fix it with the mounting tool.

Place the floor stickers in such a way that the two foot stickers are in the middle of the camera position and you have enough space to the back without hitting the portal frame.

To set up the system for operation, log in as user "user". During the following user selection, Select “Operator“. After a short initialization phase, the FebriScan interface will appear. With all system variants, you as the operator can decide whether all information should be made available to the user.

April 28 , 2020 The system is preconfigured in such a way that only the blackbody needs to be positioned if the installation distances are maintained (see chapter System Setup for Mobile / Integration package). Position the lens of the blackbody in such a way that the round measuring surface, which you can see in the top left of the live image of the camera, appears within the warm area (this appears as an orange dot).
If an elevated body temperature of a person is detected by Febriscan, it must be verified separately with a clinical thermometer after the measurement. The procedure with persons in whose case an increased body temperature was detected is the responsibility of the respective system operator.

April 28 , 2020 Ask the user to position his head within the vertical measuring surface. Inform the user that the glasses must be taken off and hair or coverings in front of the eyes must be removed so that the inner areas of the eyes and the forehead can be seen.
To change the preset system parameters, log in as user "administrator" immediately after the system start (see chapter 3.2.1) or click on the FebriScan icon in the upper left corner to return to the login screen. The following options are available for navigation within the FebriScan App.

Click "Next" in the following dialog boxes. The “Component Selection“ dialog box allows you to add additional libraries.
Select the camera by right-clicking on the corresponding line and choose "Open Device Website" from the context menu that appears. You will be automatically forwarded to the login screen of the FebriScan system. Please return to the chapter "System Start and Login" and follow the further instructions to activate the system.
The following reasons may require a change in the configuration of the access point: For example, if you have ordered another FebriScan system that is located within the WLAN range of an existing one, unique SSIDs must be assigned for the different systems.
