Media center IR remote

Hardware Installation:

Insert the battery:

The remote control uses 2 x AAA batteries, which are included in the package.
1.Remove the battery compartment cover by pushing it downward.
2.Insert the batteries, and make sure to align the positive (+) and negative (-) ends as
indicated in the battery compartment.
3.Replace the battery compartment cover.

Position the Transceiver:

For optimum performance, make sure that the distance between the remote control and
transceiver does not exceed 7 meters. Make sure that you can point the remote control directly
at the receiver.

Connect the Transceiver:

1.Turn on your PC.
2.Plug the USB connector of the transceiver firmly into the USB port of your computer.
3.
Your PC screen will show the new hardware installation wizard.
Please select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)", then click "Next"
Please insert your CD driver into your CD-ROM and select your CD-ROM location from "My
computer". Or activate Hardware updated Wizard from your "Control panel", and select "KÖNIG
Transceiver", then click "Next".
The screen will show "Hardware installation", please click "Continue Anyway".
Please wait a while the Wizard installs the software.
click "Finish" to complete the installation.
Connect IR Emitter: (Option)
If you receive your TV signal through a set-top box, you must connect an IR emitter to the
Transceiver to control your TV
To connect an IR Emitter:
1.Insert the plug at the end of an IR emitter cable into the port on the back of the transceiver.
2.Attach the emitter to the front of the IR sensor lens on the set-top box.

Using the remote control:

The remote control may interact with most of the features in Media Center. Just point it at the
transceiver, and then enter your commends.
Remote controller has 6 types of buttons:
Playback buttons: Control your media.
Audio-Video (AV) and power buttons: Change channels and adjust volume.
Navigation buttons: Move between items on the screen.
Short-cut buttons: Direct access to My Pictures, My Music, My TV, ......
Numeric key buttons: Enter TV channels or alphanumeric characters.
Teletext and fastext buttons: Access teletext functions.

Navigation buttons

Use the navigation buttons to move between items on the screen in Media Center
S Start Media Center or go to Start menu
▲ Move to the item above
▼ Move to the item below
Move to the item on the left or move to the menu
Move to the item on the right or move from menu to folder item
OK Select active item
Back Go to previous screen
More info Show information about current media or selected item

AV and power buttons

+,- Adjust the volume
Volume
+,- CH/PG Change the channel
Mute Mute the sound. Press again to resume the sound

Short-cut buttons

Live TV Switch to live TV if TV is not currently playing. If TV is paused, skip to live programming
Record Go to recorded TV page

DVD Display the DVD menu

My TV Go to my TV
My Videos Go to my videos
My Music Go to my music
My Picture Go to my picture

Numeric buttons

Number 0~9 and *, #
Enter Press to submit the characters you have typed
Clear Press to delete characters you have types

Playback buttons

Use the playback buttonns to control the playback or display of your media – picture, music, videos and TV
Pause Pause current playing media. Press again to resume.
