It is recommended that a qualified mechanic install this unit. A razor will be required along with a set of pliers and a hand drill
with 5/32" and 5/8" drill bits.
Install the reservoir by locating a suitable position where the tank will remain level.
1 -
2 -
Drill two holes with a 5/32" drill bit into the metal, using the reservoirs mounting holes as a
template.
3 -
Mount the reservoir with the long sheet metal screws with the black ground wire terminal
harness secured by one of the screws.
Plug Harness connector into the reservoirs pump socket.
4 -
5 -
Install the switch by locating a convenient position on your dash by drilling a 5/8" hole free
from interference.
Mount the switch from the back side securing with the provided hex nuts.
6 -
7 -
Attach the red power lead wire to either side of the switch, then attach the red power
harness wire on the other switch connector.
8 -
Connect to power selecting a 12 volt power source and place wire in one side of the wire
tap.
9 -
Place red power lead wire from switch in other side of wire tap (Do Not Strip Wire).
10 -
Crimp down on metal prong with pliers, so both wires are pierced. Close plastic cover.
11 -
Intall nozzle tubes and jets by determining the best location. Drill a hole if needed to mount
each nozzle tube.
12 -
Bend the tubes so that they face the intercooler when activated.
13 -
Using the nozzle tube clamps as a template, drill a 5/32" hole(s) to secure the clamps, then
attach them with short sheet metal screws.
14 -
Adjust nozzle tips with pliers so the water stream makes contact with the intercooler.
