Connect the first waste line by cutting off the seal cap at the top of the unit with either a stanley knife or hacksaw. 2. Connect the rubber connector to the outlet and tighten with a metal hose clamp (Fig 1).

The twin macerator is to be installed with at least 600mm of working room around and above the unit to facilitate such maintenance work as required. 2. Isolating valves (not supplied) must be fitted on waste inlets and on the discharge to ensure that any service/ maintenance can be carried out safely.

Make sure that the unit is operating correctly by carrying out at least two start cycles with water to test the system.
