SETTINGS
tap Unrestricted data to allow some apps to always have data connection
access, even when Data Saver is enabled.
• Mobile data: Enable or disable mobile data.
• App data usage: Check how much data has been used by each app
during the time cycle you set. You can then tap an app to restrict its use of
background data or grant it unrestricted data use when Data Saver is on.
• Data warning & limit: Set the billing cycle, mobile data warning, and mobile
data limit.
• Wi-Fi data usage: View the Wi-Fi usage of apps during the last month.
NOTE: The data usage monitored by your device may not match your carrier's
usage data.
Hotspot & Tethering
Open Settings and tap Network & internet > Hotspot & tethering to share
your phone's mobile data through tethering or as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot
(see Connecting to Networks and Devices – Sharing Your Mobile Data
Connection. )
Airplane Mode
Open Settings and tap Network & internet > Airplane mode to turn airplane
mode on or off. All the phone's radios (such as cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth )
that transmit voice or data are turned off when airplane mode is on.
Call Settings
Open Settings and tap Network & internet > Call settings to configure calling
options (see Phone Calls – Adjusting Your Call Settings .)

VPN
Open Settings and tap Network & internet > VPN to set up and connect
to virtual private networks (see Connecting to Networks and Devices –
Connecting to Virtual Private Networks ).
Private DNS
Open Settings and tap Network & internet > Private DNS to turn Private DNS
on or off or change the DNS provider hostname. Using private DNS is a way
to secure your Internet communication.

CONNECTED DEVICES

Open Settings and tap Connected devices to manage your phone's
connection via Bluetooth and USB and to wireless printers and Chromebooks.
You can tap Pair new device to pair new Bluetooth devices or tap Connection
preferences configure Bluetooth settings, printer services, and Chromebook
connections (see Connecting to Networks and Devices – Connecting to
Bluetooth Devices .)
When your phone is connected to a computer via USB, you can also tap
Connected devices > USB to manage the USB connection mode (see
Connecting to Networks and Devices – Connecting to Your Computer via
USB .)
