Digital Compass
Congratulations on purchasing the latest in technology digital compass with clock, stopwatch
and thermometer. The compass lights up with a LCD display and backlight. Please take some
time to read the instructions below to explore the features.

Blue backlight shuts off after 15 seconds of inactivity

The compass runs on 1 x AAA battery.

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS

Suggest using a Zinc Chloride battery on this unit instead of alkaline battery, as some alkaline
batteries may cause interference to the unit because of its magnetism.
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from compass.
Keep this unit away from magnetic objects, which will cause interference to the unit and affect its
working.

OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS

INSTALLING BATTERIES

1. lnsert 1 x AAA battery into the battery compartment as
indicated by the polarity symbols (+and-).
2. Replace the cover.
STOPWATCH
1. In normal time display press the button marked 'SECOND'
once to enter stopwatch mode.
2. Each press of the button will start or stop the counting.
3. Press the 'COUNT' button to clear and reset to 0.
Before resetting you must press the 'SECOND' button to stop the counter.
4. Finally press the 'SET' button to quit and return to normal time display.
