Connection with the mains Connect the device to the mains with the power-plug. -

Description of the device Features With the IPS-EA it is possible to activate an alarm, manually or automatically. This can be a chime or voice file. It is possible to record a 120 seconds digital voice file. DC 24V function. -

Back panel Fig. 2 IEC Power Inlet and Fuse. This connector is meant for the connection of the supplied main cord. Connect one end of the power cord to the connector, the other end to the mains, then turn on the power switch (1) to operate the unit. -

Operation Installation Remove all packing materials from the IPS-EA. Check that all foam and plastic padding is removed. Secure the equipment into a 19" rack. The IPS-EA needs 2U rackspace. Connect all cables. Connecting the device Below an example of a possible setup. -

Fig. 4 Maintenance The DAP Audio IPS-EA requires almost no maintenance. However, you should keep the unit clean. Disconnect the mains power supply, and then wipe the cover with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in liquid. Do not use alcohol or solvents. -
