    USER GUIDE FOR PRO SERIES 1.3 Charging Your PRO Series tool comes with a factory-installed rechargeable battery. Battery replacement must be done at the Bartec USA Repair facility (see Section 10.2 for battery service). When the charging cradle or mini USB cable is in use, the tool automatically powers up.

The tool will also list the Tire Industry Association (TIA) Relearn Process Reference number for cross-reference to the TIA TPMS Relearn Chart.

  • Page 28 USER GUIDE FOR PRO SERIES The following process is exclusive to Bartec RITE-SENSORS® 4.6 Rite Sync® RITE-SYNC® allows the Technician to install a NEW RITE-SENSOR® into a vehicle just like the OE sensor, and during the RELEARN Process, “sync” that sensor to the Make-Model-Year selected, keeping the RELEARN process the same as using an OE sensor.
  • Page 29 To proceed with RITE-ID® press the enter key on the wheel selection, it will begin searching for those sensors. If found it will indicate the sensor. 4.8 Program Sensor Bartec PRO Series tools offer a unique feature: the ability to program various aftermarket sensors. Select Program Sensor from the Home menu and follow all on-screen instructions relating to sensor programming. 4.8.1 Procedure Bartec recommends programming sensors before fitting them to the wheel.

Adjust the air pressure in all tires according to the new placard values. 2. Place a new placard sticker on the vehicle’s B-pillar with the updated pressure, tire size, and load information as required.
  • Page 32 6.3 Passive Key (400PRO Only) Passive Key or Push Button Start vehicles generally send out a LF signal to activate the key fob. Bartec has incorporated the ability to detect those LF signals and display that information on the screen of your tool. This feature is a basic pass/fail test and assists the technician in determining if there is a problem with the transmission from the key fob or vehicle.
